Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025 Published (Sept 2025)
Keeping Children Safe in Education has been released today following the indicative guidance document they released in July.
Thankfully there are no additional changes to the July version so all our current content released since the July guidance will remain as is.
There are only technical changes to Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025. Future versions will reflect the:
- progress into legislation of the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill
- emerging further learnings from the work of the National Audit on Group-based Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and subsequent inquiries
- future work on tackling violence against women and girls
For a full breakdown of the changes, you can look at Annex F of the updated guidance which you can find here.
For a full discussion on what the changes means in practice, please come to one of our DSL courses or updates where our experts will share these in full!
Wishing all our schools a great 2025/26 Academic Year!
